Leave Credit

In pocket HRMS, Advance leave credit enables you to set credit leave balance in different ways. Companies will have different kinds of leave policies, so based on the policy we can do the configuration in this advance leave credit.

This option will help HR to provide the different types of leave on a pro-rata basis for their employees. The term pro rata in Pocket HRMS refers that the leave will be credited based on data of joining and it will work on a pro rata basis.

This setting will be purely configured from the cloud portal itself. Let's explore the settings and advantages in advance of leaving credit

Path: Cloud > Settings > Leave > Leave credit

Below are the different types of settings regarding Advance leave credit:

1. We can configure the advance leave setting based on category and different leave type

2. By using frequency, we can able to configure the leave credit setting by monthly, quarterly, Half yearly and annually as well.

3. In pocket HRMS, you can process the leave credit based on the default date in the month. Like the starting date or end date of the month.

4. We can configure leave credit based on date of birth, date of joining etc.

5. In leave eligibility, we can configure the maximum leave count for the particular leave type, which has been credited in a pro-rata basis. Also, it will be opening with credit or as per the given leave balance. Both possibilities of configuration are there.

6. Leave credit count

· Constant: constant count means we can provide the same amount of leave credit for all the months of the calendar or financial year.

· But by using the varying options, we can update different leave counts on a month basis.

7. The rounding option is configurable for this pro-rata leave credit. (For example, if an employee has 0.26 leave, if we give the round off as half a day, then that 0.26 will be converted into 0.5 days of credit.)

8. By using the below formula tab, we can calculate and provide the leave based on month and paid days.

9. We have a check box option to restrict the first monthly leave credit as per the date of joining and you can also this option based on your management policy.

10. In the below tab, we can configure the leave credit for the people who are at mid-month and you can also define the days as well.

11. We can configure the eligibility formula by using the formula creation tab.

12. In this advance credit, we can configure the cut-off value. Cut-off value means we can give the maximum count of balance for the particular leave type.
